I'm Samantha Black

Front-End Developer, based in Hilo, Hawai'i

I am originally from Santa Cruz, California, but I have lived in Hilo, Hawai'i for the last eleven years. I earned my undergraduate degree in journalism from Hawai'i Pacific University in 2008 and my graduate degree in education, with an emphasis in instructional technology, from San Francisco State University in 2014. I have worked in higher education for 13 years. Most recently, I have starting developing my skills in front-end development.

I live in Hilo with my husband and two young daughters. We spend our free time at the beach, going on walks, cooking, reading, and spending time with our family and friends.
